The cost of interior finishing is one of the first things worth considering before the design process even begins. The problem is that the commonly quoted price per square metre does not always provide a realistic estimate of the overall project budget.

Two apartments of a similar size can have completely different finishing costs. The same applies to houses. The final price depends primarily on the scope of work, the standard of finishing materials, the amount of custom-made furniture and joinery, furnishings and equipment, as well as the technical solutions included in the project.

That is why, instead of relying solely on indicative prices per m², it is worth looking at actual cost estimates from completed projects.
