Interior design with a cost estimate — how does the estimental. design process differ?

What if you could see the cost of every design decision while planning your interior — before signing the contract?

Interior design with a cost estimate — how does the estimental. design process differ?
Imagine spending several months designing your dream apartment in Warsaw. You chose tiles, cabinet fronts and lighting. The interior design is ready, you are excited — and then you receive the cost estimate.
Twice as much as you expected.
You go back to the design. You start over. You drop the materials you liked most. You look for cheaper alternatives. The final result is only a shadow of what you imagined.
This is a situation we encounter very often in first conversations with new clients — both from Warsaw and from nearby towns in the Masovian Voivodeship. And that is exactly the problem we set out to solve at estimental.
Our solution: a cost estimate developed in parallel with the interior design
At estimental., the cost estimate is not a document you receive at the end of the design process. It is developed in parallel with the interior design, created at the very start of our collaboration and updated until the final decision.
What does this mean in practice? Every design decision has its price visible in real time. You can make choices not only based on what looks beautiful and works well, but also on what fits your budget — before you approve the design.
This approach sets our studio apart from other interior design firms in Warsaw.

What does this look like in practice? An example from a completed project

An example from one of our Warsaw projects — two concepts for the same bathroom:
Elements that differ in the estimate:
Under-sink cabinet with veneered oak fronts, lacquered, with rounded corners and three drawers: PLN 4,200.00
Caesarstone Cloudburst Concrete 4011 quartz countertop: PLN 1,784.00
Total: PLN 5,984.00
Elements that differ in the estimate:

Under-sink cabinet with lacquered fronts, two Blum drawer systems, rounded corners and a decorative plinth in lacquered MDF: PLN 1,850.00

Custom-made terrazzo-style countertop: PLN 2,503.00
Total: PLN 4,353.00
In a standard design process, you might not even learn about the price difference between both concepts — yet it is quite noticeable. With us, you can calmly consider your options during the design meeting, compare alternatives and choose the solution that fits your budget.
This is not an exception. Every meeting at our studio works this way — whether the project is an apartment in central Warsaw, a house in Piaseczno, or an apartment in Konstancin-Jeziorna.
