Our In-House Carpenters Team – One of estimental’s Greatest Advantages

Custom-built furniture is one of the most important elements of any interior project. It defines the functionality of kitchens, wardrobes, bathrooms, media units, and storage solutions, while often accounting for up to one-third of the total interior fit-out budget. That’s why, at estimental, we chose to build our own in-house joinery team and fully integrate furniture production with the interior design process.
This allows our architects to create interiors that are not only beautiful but also fully buildable, cost-efficient, and completed much faster than in a traditional design-and-build model.

We Design Only What Can Actually Be Built

One of the biggest challenges in conventional interior design is the disconnect between architects and furniture manufacturers. Designers often don’t have detailed knowledge of a joinery workshop’s technical capabilities, which means a project may include details that later prove difficult—or even impossible—to manufacture.
When that happens, homeowners are left to resolve the issue themselves during construction. They often have to compromise on the design or rely on an external joiner to develop a solution on the spot.
At estimental, the situation is entirely different.
Our architects work alongside our own joinery specialists every day. They understand the manufacturing process, technical limitations, and production methods required for even the most sophisticated custom furniture.
As a result, every concept we present has already been evaluated from a production perspective. We design only solutions that we know can be manufactured and installed exactly as intended.
For our clients, this means a predictable process, fewer surprises, and complete confidence during the construction phase.

Better Budget Control Through Accurate Furniture Cost Planning

Custom joinery is one of the largest cost categories in any interior fit-out project, often representing around 30% of the total investment.
Having our own joinery workshop gives us a significant advantage from the very beginning of the design process. Our architects work with internal pricing data developed together with our joinery team, allowing them to estimate the cost of each custom furniture element before the project is finalized.
This enables smarter budget allocation.
For the spaces that have the greatest impact on everyday living—such as kitchens, wardrobes, or living areas—we can recommend more sophisticated and highly customized solutions. Meanwhile, in utility rooms, storage spaces, or technical areas, we optimize furniture construction to reduce costs without compromising quality or functionality.
This balanced approach allows clients to invest where it truly matters while keeping the overall fit-out budget under control.

Saving Months on the Construction Schedule

Our in-house joinery team also provides one of our biggest organizational advantages: a dramatically shorter project timeline.
In a traditional renovation process, the general contractor typically spends three to five months completing construction and finishing work. Only after those works are finished does the joiner visit the property to take final measurements. Manufacturing then requires an additional two to three months, during which the completed apartment remains empty while everyone waits for the furniture to be produced.
At estimental, these stages happen simultaneously.
Because our construction teams and joinery specialists work within the same company, they coordinate the entire process from the very beginning. Together they establish the target dimensions, levels, and finishing details required for every custom-built element, while the Project Coordinator ensures the construction work follows those agreed specifications throughout the project.
Our joinery team takes precise measurements during the very first month of construction and begins manufacturing while the finishing works are still in progress. By the time the construction team completes its work, most of the cabinetry has already been produced in our workshop.
Installation typically takes around one week and begins immediately after the finishing works are complete.
The result is remarkable: the entire investment can be completed up to four months sooner than in a traditional project delivery model.
For homeowners, that means moving into their new home much earlier, reducing temporary accommodation costs, and avoiding months of unnecessary waiting.

One Team, One Responsibility

At estimental, we believe the best interiors are created when architects, joinery specialists, contractors, and project coordinators work as one integrated team.
Our in-house joinery workshop allows us to control quality, budget, and scheduling throughout every stage of the investment.
The result is an interior that doesn’t stop at beautiful visualizations. It is built exactly as designed—efficiently, predictably, and with exceptional attention to every detail.
